Jamaica native Dillinger began working as a DJ on Prince Jackie and El Paso sound systems as Dennis Al Capone Jr, until Lee “Scratch” Perry, who produced his first recording, suggested he change his name after the gangster John Dillinger. This is his first album, Ready Natty Dreadie produced by Coxsone Dodd in 1975.
