For Tampa Bay, the late 1990s marked a defining time — bold uniforms, loud personalities, and fearless style. The Fresh Rags x ’47 x Tampa Bay Rays collection honors that era by blending vintage sports nostalgia with modern streetwear energy.

The Story Behind the Collaboration

This project was created in partnership with ’47 Brand and the Tampa Bay Rays, bringing together heritage sports culture and contemporary streetwear through a shared respect for authenticity and design. Fresh Rags chose to build the collection on the iconic ’47 Hitch nylon low crown silhouette, a modern classic known for its structured fit and timeless profile. To elevate the design, the hat features a custom reflective Iridium material, inspired by the legendary Oakley lenses worn by Jose Canseco during his Tampa Bay Rays era.
